Winkworth nature photography competition and exhibition

Calling all photographers and nature enthusiasts!

We are offering nature and amateur photographers an opportunity to exhibit their photographs of Winkworth Arboretum this spring.

The theme for the competition is 'Tranquillity'. Whether it’s the gentle play of sunlight filtering through the trees, the seasonal colours, or the quiet stillness of the water, there’s no better place to showcase your talent and share the peaceful moments that nature offers.

How to enter:

Email your photos labelled 'Winkworth Photography Competition' in the subject line to winkworth-arboretum@nationaltrust.org.uk before 23:59 on Monday 28 April 2025. Please provide your name and contact information in your email, the date and location you took the photo(s), plus an explanation (50 words max) of why you took the picture and why it meets the brief.

All photographs must be taken within the grounds of Winkworth. They do not need to be new photographs.

No more than two entries per person, and please ensure that your images do not include people.

Winning Entries:

We will credit the winner's names alongside the images as part of the exhibition, as well as on the Winkworth website and social media. If you object to your name being published or wish to reduce the amount of information to be published, please state this in your entry email or contact us separately at winkworth-arboretum@nationaltrust.org.uk
