Under the guidance of our experienced florist, you will learn the art of creating beautiful bespoke wreaths using a variety of  materials and techniques.
All we ask you to bring is a large bag of evergreen foliage for example, fir, laurel, bay, ivy, holly, your choice of coloured ribbon and any decorations that you wish to use to use on your wreath.  You can be as creative as you want - you can let your imagine go wild! There are so many things you can forage from your garden to use e.g. hydrangea heads or wild berries or go foraging in the kitchen, you might fancy using dried oranges, cinnamon sticks, and for a festive sparkle even add a string of lights.  The choices are endless!  We will provide everything else you need to create a fantastic wreath.
The workshop is for all abilities and is a maximum of 6 people.
Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided to keep you going!

Nothing kick starts the Christmas season off quite like making a beautiful wreath to adorn your door for the festive period.

A wonderful experience to see the Hall and Parlour dressed using traditional decorations for Christmas and  a chance to wander through the house and learn about the work that we do in closing up the house for winter and all the conservation work that takes place through the colder months. (limited rooms open)

Wrap up warm and experience the winter light streaming through the windows and let you imagination wander to  what life would have been like 600 years ago.

Special Winter Open Days

Join us on the 30th November to kick start your festive season with a carol concert in the hall led by the wonderful St Andrew's choir .  The concert will be from 2pm to 2.40 pm with the property open from 11am  (access to limited rooms).  This is a standing event.  Donations raised will go to St Andrews Church
