Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes to look after the collection at Bateman’s?

Chat to the Bateman’s collections and house team and watch as they clean and maintain items from the collection, from Elise Kipling’s books to Rudyard Kipling’s beloved blue Rolls Royce.

The team will be looking after:

Parlour furniture and Kipling curio collection

Please wear clothing suitable for the weather.

Accessibility

The Parlour and Elsie’s Sitting Room are wheelchair accessible via the front entrance of the house. The Rolls Royce garage has a step up into the building and isn’t wheelchair accessible, but it still viewable from the path.
