Princess in the Tower
A magical experience with a Princess as she teaches you all the qualities needed to become a successful princess.

This fun and immersive experience includes games of friendship, crafts and dancing. All aspiring princesses graduate with a certificate and crown. Lessons last 45 minutes and are held in a first-floor tower room in the castle.

Suitable for children aged 5+. One parent per child is welcome to stay.
- Meeting point
Please ask at visitor reception for directions to the castle courtyard which is the meeting point for this event.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather. We encourage dressing up in your princess finery.
- Accessibility
There are gravel paths from visitor reception to the castle and around the moat. Elsewhere in the grounds there is uneven terrain. Please note there is a set of stairs to climb to enter the tower.
- Other
Experiences will start promptly at their given time in the castle, so please allow 15 minutes to get from Visitor Reception to the castle courtyard. Normal admission applies. Please head to Visitor Reception on arrival to purchase your admissions ticket. Admission is free for National Trust members. Pre-booking required.
