'Look What I Found In The Woods' Family Activity
There's treasure in the trees! Set off on an outdoor adventure and see what you can find with author Moira Butterfield as she leads families on a nature treasure hunt around the Pleasure Garden inspired by her book Look What I Found in the Woods.

Discover and explore new ways of looking with author of the National Trust 'Look What I Found' series Moira Butterfield published by Nosy Crow.
During this one-hour walk around the Pleasure Garden you'll make stops along the way to spot different things and safely collect bits and pieces such as nuts, leaves and fallen bark to your collector bags to create rubbings.
This walk is ideal for children aged 3-6 accompanied by parents/guardians, but suitable for all.
There is an option to purchase the book Look What I Found in the Woods when booking for £13 per child, or £5 per child without the book.
These walks are one hour long in duration, taking place at 11am and 1pm, please meet by the Garden Theatre Marquee.

Please meet by the Garden Theatre Marquee located on the North Lawn. When arriving please ask our teams at reception for guidance.
- What to bring and wear
This event is outdoors, please come prepared for the weather. Should the weather become severe, we have an alternative crafting activity as a backup.
- Accessibility
There are wheelchair and pushchair friendly paths in the garden. Please keep in mind some of the trail may venture off these paths.
