Swing by our beautiful garden this May and June to enjoy a fun-filled trail based on Eric Carle’s beloved book ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. One for all the family, take your children on a journey through a butterfly’s life. You will find a wide variety of trail stops including fruit sculptures, nostalgic illustrations, and insect themed activities throughout the trail.

The trail takes place throughout the property and begins at the Welcome Building.

What to bring and wear

Sensible footwear and clothing is recommended as the garden can be muddy depending on the weather.

The route will all be on our accessible pathways, so it will be suitable for anyone that wishes to join.
