Magnificent Meadows Day at Chirk Castle
Join us to celebrate our wildflower meadows with an exciting day buzzing with activities

Enjoy a magical stroll through the paths in the wild meadow in front of the castle, breathe in the scent and colour all around and listen to the sound of wildlife all around. Then take part in our fun Meadow Flower Identification activity which involves making a meadow framed picture using natural materials. This is a free activity for children and accompanying adults. Sessions take place at 11am, 12pm and 2pm and last approximately 30 minutes each. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis - please secure your place at the ticket office on arrival.

Book your place at the ticket office then meet outside the Portcullis five minutes before at your allotted time.
- What to bring and wear
This event takes place outdoors, please dress according to the weather.
- Accessibility
All registered assistance dogs are welcome in the gardens. Our visitor shuttlebus runs from the Ticket Office, up the steep hill to the Castle. There is a step-free route of the garden. Please contact us to borrow and reserve a wheelchair or to hire our Tramper. Home Farm has a cobbled area. There are grass paths through the meadows which can be uneven in places.
