Discover more about the 480-acre Chirk Castle estate by joining our volunteer ranger for a guided walk.
Immerse yourself in nature as you explore ancient woodlands, scenic parkland and breathtaking views, while uncovering the rich history and diverse wildlife of this stunning landscape.
The next walks will be on 12 & 26 March and 9 & 30 April. Each walk lasts approximately 1.5 hours. The walk is limited to 15 participants, please book in advance to secure your spot.
This event is free, but standard admission fees apply for entry to the castle and garden.

Not suitable for very young children or prams.
- Meeting point
Meet on the grassed area by the kiosk down at Home Farm, a short distance from the ticket office.
- What to bring and wear
Wear sensible walking shoes/boots. Dress according to the weather. You may also need to bring an umbrella and waterproof coat.
- Accessibility
This walk takes place on uneven grassland and is unsuitable for wheelchairs, visitors with limited mobility and prams/pushchairs.

Each walk is limited to 15 people.
