Christmas @ Dinefwr
Christmas at Dinefwr is a place for growing traditions.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
The Creatures of Dinefwr Christmas tree will host eight new decorations, adding to the amazing web of creatures that can be found at Dinefwr; sparkly swan mussels, a little egret and a vole are just some of the new creatures joining the pack.
Wildlife and wilderness will be strewn throughout the house, truly brining the outside in. The Inner Hall will hold huge thistle sculptures, created by four amazing community groups, and giant nettles will drape from the ceiling. The overarching theme will be Winter Sparkle, with delightful, surprising sparkle intertwining all elements of our decoration.
Santas Grotto will be hosted in the Drawing Room this year, for pre booked Father Christmas visits every Sunday from 30th November. Outside of these days Santas Grotto will remain open for visitors to take a peek at the magical setting.
The Basement will be where visitors can find some cheeky Christmas activities. Dressing up in the Brushing Room, craft activities in the Butler Pantry, you can hear the elves working in their workshop as you walk through the corridor, and there will be Christmas films on every day in the Ale Cellar.
The café will be bursting with foliage creating the best backdrop whilst you relax and have a bite to eat in the café, and the open fire will be roaring every day.
