They will be very happy to talk about items that will be on display. The items are mainly of Roman origin, and were unearthed in and around the Pumsaint Fort during the archaeological digs of the 1980's. A highlight among the exhibits is a small, exquisitely engraved gemstone, or intaglio. The stone was probably originally set in a ring and came out of its setting when immersed in hot water at the Roman bath house.
