Blossom photography workshop at Dyffryn Gardens
Join local professional photographer, Glyn Evans for a photography workshop on 26 April and get some top tips for taking professional-level photographs of blossom and nature with your own camera.
- Booking essential
This workshop is for beginners/intermediates and those with a DSLR or mirrorless cameras but also can be tailored for those wanting to take better photos on their phone.
Glyn will walk you through some of the key principles of good photography, helping you to practice and apply these principles as you head out into the gardens. He will take time with each of you, showing you some of your camera or phone’s settings that will help you get what you want from your photos. This is your time with the expert, so if you have any questions or anything you want to get better at, just ask Glyn and he’ll give you some pointers and feedback.
You'll have refreshments in the Gallery and an introductory talk from Glyn, he'll then take you around the gardens and teach you how to take better photos of the beauty around you. We've timed this workshop specially so that the gardens will be bursting with beautiful content; delicate blossoms, lots of bees and insects, long views of the gardens, shining architecture, reflective water features and more. You'll come away from the workshop with heaps of new knowledge and a camera full of stunning photos.
This is a ticketed event, tickets are £40 each which includes entry to the gardens and refreshments, we're keeping numbers to 12 people per session so that Glyn can make sure he's on hand to help everyone on their learning journey. Please bring your own camera, phone or tablet to work with during the session.
