Guided archaeology walks at Erddig
Join National Trust archaeologist Kathy Laws to discover hidden gems of Erddig's landscape.

Discover the landscape archaeology of Erddig on a choice of two walks with our leading expert. Explore the garden as well as the Norman motte-and-bailey castle remains and learn about Wat's Dyke and other early features of the estate. The walks, which last around two hours each, take place on 16 July and start at 10.30am and 1.30pm prompt. Numbers are limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

- What to bring and wear
This event takes place outdoors. Please dress according to the weather and wear appropriate footwear for walking outdoors on potentially uneven terrain.
- Accessibility
These walks include stiles and rough terrain, please call for more information. The garden can be accessed via a ramp and the paths are fine loose grave. Wolf's Den is loose wood chip and can be muddy on wet days.
- Other
This walk is not suitable for dogs as it takes in the formal garden.
