Wolf’s Den is back and better than ever, offering the perfect place to explore nature. Balance, build and play in our refreshed natural playground.

From 15 February, step back into nature this half-term at Erddig. Explore the reopened Wolf's Den Natural Play Area, refreshed after its winter rest and let your imagination run wild in this beautiful woodland space.

It’s time to hop, skip, and jump around- balance on beams, build dens, and climb in our natural playground. Whatever the weather, Wolf’s Den is the perfect place to let off steam.

Normal admission charges apply. National Trust members and under 5s enter for free.

What to bring and wear

We recommend wearing old, warm clothing as Wolf's Den can get quite muddy at times.

Accessibility

The site offers disabled parking bays, ramped access to the gardens and well-maintained loose gravel pathways throughout. Please note that Wolf's Den has uneven surfaces and woodchip flooring. Assistance dogs are welcome in the garden.
