The bottom parking area is a few yards on the right-hand side after crossing over the cattle grid. The parking area is a grassy verge with space for around 15-20 vehicles. There are no designated parking spaces. The parking on the top is on concrete ground with space for approx. 10-15 cars. There are no designated parking spaces.
Dogs allowed
Livestock will be grazing in areas- please keep dogs on leads at all times.
Level access/terrain
Concrete road from the bottom of the hill leading up to the top car park. Great views can be seen from both points.
Steps/uneven terrain
From the top, the terrain is uneven and includes steps in areas. There are rocky crags next to the coastguard hut.
By road
From Caernarfon- 1. Follow signs towards Nefyn/ Pwllheli (A499) 2. Take the 2nd exit at Llanaelhaearn roundabout (B4417) 3. At Penygroeslon junction, turn right onto B4413 4. Take the first right after entering Aberdaron village, continue and follow signs for Uwchmynydd. 5. After driving over a cattle grid you will have reached the bottom parking area. Continue up if you wish to park at the top. From Pwllheli- 1. Head towards the A499 and follow signs for Abersoch. 2. At Llanbedrog take the B4413 (opposite Glyn y Weddw pub) 3. Continue along the B4413 for 10.4mi. 4. Take the first right after entering Aberdaron village, continue and follow signs for Uwchmynydd. 5. After driving over a cattle grid you will have reached the bottom parking area. Continue up if you wish to park at the top.
