Easter adventures at Penrhyn Castle and Gardens
Join in on the springtime fun as we host the annual Easter trail at Penrhyn Castle and Gardens. Our Easter trail is packed with fun for all the family. With animals emerging following a winter hibernation and flowers blooming all over the garden, it's a beautiful time of year to visit the castle and grounds.
This Easter, pop on your ears and hop into the easter holidays at Penrhyn Castle and Garden. Between 23 March and 1 April, local artists bring the ten-point Easter adventures in nature trail to life at Penrhyn Castle. Come and meet the exuberant carved woodland creatures who live on our grounds, and our larger-than-life willow frog who makes a home in the Bog Garden.
The easter adventures trail gives the entire family a chance to get out and about with a range of activities to complete. Find the instruments in the woods and make some music, join in our easter tea party in the Walled Garden or take part in the egg and spoon race. If you’re heading into the castle, pay attention and you might spot some colourful eggs the easter bunny dropped.
After all that hard work, collect your treat at the end of the Easter egg hunt, choosing from either a chocolate egg or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg. Both eggs are made using Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa.
Things you need to know before visiting this Easter:
- Trail costs £3 per child. This includes a trail sheet, pencil and chocolate egg.
- Normal admission prices do apply.
- Most of the trail is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs and alternative routes are available for the uneven terrain.
