Along this guided walk, the walk leader, Mali, will share their knowledge of the nature and history of the surrounding area. During this walk, you will learn how to use an OS map, gain confidence from walking in the countryside and learn how to plot your own routes in the future.
Enjoy stunning sea views as we walk, with the famous "squeaky" sands of Porthor (Whistling Sands) to the northeast and the striking Mynydd Anelog to the southwest. Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife, from choughs and oystercatchers to the occasional seal, porpoise, or even a dolphin—if you're lucky! We’ll also spot two charming little islands along our route.
