A visit to Upton House and Gardens wouldn’t be complete without heading to the Pavilion Café, where you can grab a light lunch or a slice of cake. You'll also find a range of products in the gift shop, or you can pick up a new read in the second-hand bookshop.

Pavilion Café

The Pavilion Café is open for light lunches, snacks and a range of hot and cold drinks.

The menu changes regularly, but there are always delicious cakes, bakes and scones, hot and cold drinks, as well as options for light lunches, to order from the counter.

Seating is available inside and outside, or treat yourself to a takeaway to enjoy while exploring the gardens.

Every penny of profit helps to care for Upton House and Gardens.

Design and Décor

Upton’s Pavilion Café was purpose-built in 2002, reflecting the architecture of the house, including the stylish star lanterns.

The fretwork and colour scheme echo the designs in the Long Gallery and through the house, created during the renovation in 1927.

Allergen information

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

Always check when you visit

Visited before? We sometimes change our recipes to improve quality and flavour, including the ingredients. When you visit, please speak to one of our team to check the current allergen information for your favourite dish.

Gift shop

Come and take a look around Upton's gift shop, where you'll find a great range of products for every occasion.

Whether you're buying a gift for yourself or a loved one, there's something for everyone. There's a varied selection of seasonal gifts including books, pocket-money toys for the little ones, seasonal treats and gifts for the green fingered.

Every penny you spend in the shop goes towards supporting the conservation work here both in the house and in the outdoor spaces, and towards keeping the doors open for visitors to enjoy in the future. Thank you.

Second-hand bookshop

It’s a wonderful thing to escape into a book. There are some great reads of fiction and factual guides in the second-hand bookshop overlooking the New Squash Court.

The bookshelves are regularly replenished with a wide variety of titles and genres, so there's something for all tastes.

Donating books

Donations of second-hand books are welcome. All money raised through sales in the bookshop goes directly towards the work carried out at Upton House and Gardens.

By donating your novels, cookbooks and annuals you could help to plant bulbs in the garden, conserve a painting or keep the roof in good condition.

Before delivering, it's helpful for us to know what you're donating and when you will be coming, so please give us a call on: 01925 670266 or email us on: uptonhouse@nationaltrust.org.uk

Thank you

It is through your purchases and support that we are able to continue to care for nature, beauty and history for everyone, for ever.
