Bring your group to visit Upton House and Gardens, see the famous art collection, enjoy the beautiful gardens or hear stories of Upton's history as a home.

Self-guided tour of the house and collections

We are unable to facilitate guided tours within the house, but there is plenty of information available about the collection including detailed room books as well as our friendly volunteers wwho will be ready to give you a warm welcome inside the house and to share their knowledge of its history, the family and the collection.

The Smartify app is a new option where you can delve deeper and discover more about the treasured art and porcelain collection at the tap of a button. To find out more, see here.

To give your group a more relaxing experience, the welcome team will issue you with timed tickets for entry to the house on your arrival. You can then plan how you’d like to spend your time with us at the property.

Please note, there are over 3,000 items in the collection and neither all items nor all rooms are on permanent display. If your group would like to see a particular collection item or room, please mention this at the time of your booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The Pavilion Café

Enjoy a tasty treat in the Pavilion Café, its décor inspired by Upton’s Long Gallery. Choose from a range of seasonal, home-cooked dishes. Our menu changes regularly, but includes light lunches, home-made cakes, tray bakes, scones and hot and cold drinks.

If you have any special dietary requirements, please inform one of our friendly team and they will do their best to advise you on the options available.

There's limited seating inside the café, so please be aware that your group may not all be able to eat together at the same time; we would ask you to split yourselves into smaller groups during your visit so that you have the best time here.

If you're planning a group visit you can request our free Travel Trade Pass and you and a friend or colleague will gain free entry to over 300 of our places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland for 12 months.
