Immerse yourself in a new, reimagined trail at Stourhead as the garden is illuminated by millions of sparkling festive lights and comes alive with sound of festive cheer. You will be able to feel the magic of Christmas as you wander through this stunning setting with your friends and family.
You can enjoy a brand-new array of dazzling installations for 2025, including the mesmerizing Star Show, a shimmering Sea of Light and spectacular lasers cutting through the night sky.
These new additions join the returning favourites, from the twinkling tunnel of light to the breathtaking display of colour-changing reflections stretching across the lake.
As you stroll under the stars you can warm up with indulgent festive treats from hand-picked food and beverage stalls. Sip on a spiced winter warmer, enjoy a rich hot chocolate, or toast a marshmallow over an open fire.*

The event takes place outdoors and so please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. You may need to queue on busy days.

The trail is approximately one mile long and it'll take around 90 minutes, walking at a regular pace. Guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are very welcome at this event. No other dogs are allowed for this event.

Christmas at Stourhead 2025 will run from 28 November to 31 December. Digital or printed tickets are accepted. The trail is approximately one mile long and it'll take around 90 minutes, walking at a regular pace. The event takes place outdoors and so please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. You may need to queue on busy days. Food and drink stalls can be found at the beginning and end of the trail, with additional refreshments also available. Separate charges apply for all food and drink. Guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are very welcome at this event. No other dogs are allowed for this event. Car parking is available onsite but must be pre-booked at the time of ticket purchase. Parking is free for National Trust members when purchased with tickets, proof of membership will be required on entry. Parking is available at an additional charge for non-National Trust members.
