This summer, we will be opening a new flower garden at Berrington Hall, marking a year-long celebration of all things floral.
As part of this celebration, we are highlighting the legacy of Constance Spry, the pioneering 20th-century florist who revolutionised the art of flower arranging and challenged society conventions.
On display in the mansion house will be 2 crystal cut glass vases designed by Spry herself, which are part of Berrington's collection.
These vases, featuring in a new book - Women Artists of the National Trust, were created to empower women to craft their own floral masterpieces at home.
Throughout the mansion house, you'll find floral displays inspired by Spry's work, lovingly arranged by our talented volunteer florists.
Join us as we celebrate the vases, the inspiring book, and the timeless art of flower arranging as a cherished pastime for women.
