Guided house tours - winter weekdays
Join one of our knowledgeable volunteers for a tour of the manor house on winter weekdays, from Monday 4 November - Friday 14 February.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Starting in 2024, we're expanding our winter opening times to include guided house tours on weekdays, from Monday 4th November - Friday 14 February*. The house is normally closed Monday - Friday at this time of year, so this is a great chance to get a behind-the-scenes look and learn more about the history of Brockhampton.
Tours will be led by one of our knowledgeable volunteers, who will share the stories of the house and the families who've lived here. From Monday 18 November - Friday 20 December, weekday tours will have a festive twist as you explore the merriment of Christmas through the ages. Tours will take place twice a day and last between 30 - 45 minutes, with 10 spaces on each tour.
There is no additional cost, but normal admission fees apply. Tickets will be available on arrival at visitor reception, on a first come first served basis. Advance booking not required.
On weekends and during the school holidays, the manor will be open as normal, on a self-guided, free-flow basis. The parkland, orchards and tea-room will be open daily during our winter opening. Please see the opening times section on our homepage for more information.
* The house will be free flow on 23 December and from 27 December to 5th January.
*There will be no guided tours from Monday 6 - Wednesday 8 January, as the team will be busy taking down the decorations.
