Bat Walk 2025
Take a walk in the park with our Ranger to see and listen to bats in the garden and park.

Enjoy a dusk walk in the garden to see and listen to bats at Croome. We’ll use bat detectors to listen to the bats.
A variety of bat species can be found at Croome including Lesser Horseshoes, pipistrelles and Daubenton bats. They roost in some of the buildings and feed on the insects in the garden and park.
Meet at 7.30pm by our visitor reception for a cold drink and a snack. Then a walk in the garden to spot the bats. Finish time approx. 10pm.
Route approx. 2 - 3 miles. Sorry, no dogs.
Walk will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.

RAF Visitor Centre (outside seating area).
- What to bring and wear
You’ll be outside all the time, so please dress appropriately in warm clothing with sturdy footwear. Bring a torch.
- Accessibility
The route will be approx. 3 miles long and will be on hard surface paths with limited seating.
