The Weir Garden is situated on a steep bank which drops down to the River Wye. It is a ten acre informal riverside garden with a short walk to a walled garden. It has limited access although we will do our utmost to accommodate all visitors.

Arrival and parking

The car park surface is firm with a layer of loose stone on top. There are no designated accessible spaces as the car park is not marked out however staff are happy to either guide you to a second car park with easier access or to park you as close to the garden as possible.

Moving around the site

There is no accessible path around the garden but there is a map available from Visitor Reception where the walks are identified as the most accessible and the least accessible. You can also view it here.

Assistance dogs are welcome across all areas and all dogs must be kept on a lead.

Mobile phone reception is fairly good across the site apart from inside buildings. The number to call in an emergency is 01981 590509 or 999 in a medical emergency.

Facilities

There is an accessible toilet available.

There is no café at The Weir Garden.
