Join the singers of St James' Piccadilly for a sung service of compline.

Compline would have been sung by the choir monks every day until the abbey’s dissolution in 1539. Join the Singers of St James's, Piccadilly in the cellarium for the last 30 minutes of your day to be transported back in time to the heyday of Fountains Abbey.

Meet in the abbey cellarium ready for the service to begin at 4:30pm.
- What to bring and wear
The cellarium is covered but still open to the weather so you may need to bring layers and please wear study footwear.
- Accessibility
The West Gate entrance provides level access. Seating is provided for the service but seating is limited.
- Other
Limited seating available so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Also well behaved dogs are welcome in the cellarium.
