Making charcoal and sound maps
Join the ranger team, make some charcoal and create a sound map this February half term.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Join the ranger team in Swanley Grange who will teach you how to make a fire responsibly, burn sticks safely and create charcoal.
Once you’ve made your charcoal, head to Swanley Garden to create your own sound map. Sit quietly with your eyes closed, listen to what’s going on around you and then try to draw where those sounds are coming from on your paper.
There will be two sessions running on both Thursday and Friday of half term. You can drop in any time between 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30-3.30pm.
