Easter egg hunt at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal

This spring, treat the whole family to a world of adventure at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal on an Easter trail.

Make your way along the Easter adventure trail and find activities for the whole family. The trail takes place between Saturday 5 - Monday 21 April, from 10am - 3pm. You can still pick up your egg at any admission point until 4.30pm. Come along and explore the beautiful gardens and historic abbey ruins of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal.

Pick up a trail sheet from Swanley Grange and experience the festivities of springtime and Easter through the ages. Immerse yourself with friends and family in games, races, crafts, dancing and the ultimate egg-stacle tournament all in a celebration of spring like no other. Visit the café to refuel for all your adventures and discover Easter decorations, books and more in the shop.

Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

The basics

Meeting point

You can pick up your Easter trail from Swanley Grange and West Gate admission between 10am and 3pm. Don't forget to pick up your chocolate egg before you leave!

What to bring and wear

There are areas of uneven ground and steep slopes on site, so wear sturdy shoes.

Accessibility

You can do as much or as little of the trail as you'd like. There are hard-standing paths around the estate route. Access to the abbey is across a level green. When the grass is particularly wet this can be impassable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams.

Other

If we run out of eggs, the trail will still run but there will be no charge.
