This walk between two market towns is suitable for experienced walkers only as it involves a number of ascents - but these are rewarded by wonderful moorland vistas.
It starts from the National Trust Marsden office and follows the ancient packhorse road over the Pennines, returning partly on the Pennine Way and partly over open moorland.

- What to bring and wear
Please bring suitable clothing and outdoor footwear, ideally wellies or waterproof walking boots.
- Accessibility
This walk will involve some steep uneven terrain, and may be muddy underfoot. It has some steep sections.

Dogs on leads welcome. Please bring £3 cash for donation towards conservation work on the moor (optional).
