Blossoming Words
A celebration of nature, poetry and community, with the highlight of a paper poetry blossoms installation suspended across the staircase in the Oak Hall.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Head to Nunnington Hall’s historic staircase to see a cascade of origami flowers that each contain a unique poem, created in a series of workshops with local schools, charities, libraries and community groups.
You can also hear a selection of these poems read by their creators in an accompanying audio experience. Be inspired by the beauty of blossom, and by the creativity to be found in our communities.
The workshops and creation of Blossoming words is supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery – thank you.
