On Thursday 15 August dynamic York ukulele band The Grand Old Uke of York will be gracing the stage in the unique and intimate setting of the Oak Hall.
This is a summer night out not to be missed and perfect to enjoy with family and friends. To add to your evening, you can choose to select a combined ticket, which includes the concert and a pre-concert meal.
At the checkout you can select the meal option per ticket holder and also the meal sitting time you would like to attend. Please note there is limited space available per sitting and Nunnington Hall may need to contact you about your time choice of sitting, if it is already fully booked.
If you are purchasing a concert only ticket, please arrive from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. If you are purchasing a pre-concert meal ticket, please arrive within your meal sitting time, which is selected at the booking checkout. For those with a pre-concert meal ticket, please note the concert will start at 7.30pm. If you finish your meal before the concert start time, you can enjoy the garden and purchase a drink from the bar whilst you wait.
Please note the house will be closed on the evening.

The event minimum age requirement is 12+ years.
- Meeting point
For concert ticket holders only please arrive from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. On arrival in the car park, cross the foot bridge to the front door of the house, where you will be met.
- What to bring and wear
Whilst we hope for warm weather, the Oak Hall can be chilly, so please dress appropriately. To help us care for the historic floors, please don't wear stiletto heels.
- Accessibility
There is level access into the Oak Hall and tearoom, with access to the bar in the Stone Hall accessed by stairs only. Please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements and we can arrange for assistance on the evening.
- Other
The £ 30.75 ticket price includes the concert ticket and a 2-course meal in Nunnington Hall tearoom. The £15 ticket prices includes the concert ticket only. The pre-concert meal is a spring chicken casserole or a vegan vegetable cassoulet (both served with crusty bread) and an Eton mess or a vegan sorbet for dessert. Please advise us of your meal choices at the point of booking. There will be a pay for bar in the Stone Hall, but please note drinks from the bar are not included in the ticket price. Only drinks purchased from the onsite bar can be consumed at the event. To help us care for the collection, food and drink cannot be taken into the Oak Hall.
