From 21 December until 5 January, the castle will be open daily from 11am until 4pm, last entry 30 minutes before closing (whole site closes 24, 25 and 26 December). Otherwise, it's guided tours only on weekdays from 4 November until 14 February at 11.15am and 12.30pm (places are limited and are available on a first come first served basis).

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the garden and parkland. Dogs are not allowed in the house.

The first floor of the castle can only be accessed by a staircase. Parts of the parkland have uneven terrain, natural paths and steps.

Castellated 17th-century manor house and home to the Croft family for many centuries, including present day.
