For an escape away from the crowds, spend your holiday in the hamlet of Gwendra. This cluster of restored stone-and-slate farm buildings clings to the clifftop above the family-friendly beaches of , and it's just a five-minute walk along a country lane to reach the golden sand and rock pools. Gwendra Wartha is in part of the original farmhouse, and inside there are coastal and sea views,

There are coastal trails from the doorstep and you can loop onto the South West Coat Path to walk along the . Head east to the pretty village of Veryan, with its thatched round houses, pub and shop, or hike west along the coast to Portscatho and St Mawes. The area is rich in wildlife, from butterflies and birds to common seals. You might see the small herds of ponies who graze on the coastal strips to help maintain a healthy balance of plant species.

There are five neighbouring cottages in Gwendra - (sleeps three), (sleeps four), (sleeps six), (sleeps two), and (sleeps four). It's a great place for friends and families to gather to holiday in neighbouring cottages.

View the five holiday cottages in the coastal hamlet of Gwendra, above the sands of Carne Beach. Take a tour of some of the rooms at these cottages, including the garden and views from the porch at Gwendra Wartha (sleeps three).

Please note: The single bedroom is small so the travel cot can only be used in the double bedroom.

WiFi: We’re pleased to provide free WiFi access at this accommodation, which is supported by BT. Please note intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and therefore should not be relied upon.

Parking: Parking is in the carport which is shared with Dairy cottage and Mowhay.

Heating: Night storage heating and convector heating included.

Logs: The fire will be laid for you on arrival with enough fuel to get you started. Additional briquettes and kindling can be purchased up to seven days prior to travel.

Utilities: The washing machine and tumble dryer are shared with the other cottages and housed in an outbuilding.

Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.
