For unrivalled access to coast and countryside, find an Easter break at a National Trust cottage or campsite for time with loved ones, or peace and quiet in nature.

You can choose an active holiday, cycling in the countryside or hiking by the coast, or make the most of free access to National Trust places when you stay with us. Enjoy Easter holiday events and activities on offer at many of the places we care for.

Discover Easter weekend breaks from Good Friday to Easter Monday, as well as longer breaks for the whole family over the two week school holiday.

It's not too late to find a great cottage for Easter 2025. These cottages still have pockets of availability this Easter, whether you're looking to gather the family in a large cottage or find a snug hideaway.

The kitchen and dining room at Wilson Farmhouse, Derbyshire

Wilson Farmhouse, Derbyshire 

This 17th-century is a lovely mix of old and new, and sits in a landscape of grazing fields, ancient woodland and heather moorland. It has views towards Eyam Moor, and trails lead to the Longshaw estate. Sleeps six.

Aran, Gwynedd 

This studio cottage is in the foothills of Eryri (Snowdonia), and has mountain views, waterfalls and woodland on the doorstep. It's a mile-long walk to lovely Beddgelert village and its pub. Sleeps two.

Kitchen Garden Cottage, at Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire 

Tucked away in the heart of Clumber Park, between the walled garden and the cricket ground, Kitchen Garden Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore this country estate. Sleeps four.

Godolphin House, Cornwall 

This atmospheric 17th-century manor house is at the heart of a romantic estate. Stroll along the river, through the woodlands and out towards Godolphin Hill, for views over St Ives Bay and St Michael’s Mount. It's a 15-minute drive to the coast. Sleeps 12.

Chatham, Bosloe House, Cornwall 

Chatham is one of three holiday apartments in a grand country house with views across the Helford River. You can walk down to the beach at Durgan in just a few minutes. It shares lovely gardens and rolling lawns with its neighbouring apartments - Court and Bosveal. Sleeps eight.

Court's dining room opens out onto a private, cobbled courtyard, and is perfect for special get-togethers with friends and family. In Bosloe House, it's near the pretty village of Mawnan Smith. Sleeps 10.

This former stone barn in the Cornish countryside has a sitting room on the first floor to make the most of the farmland views. Dodman Point, the highest point in South Cornwall, and the sandy Hemmick beach are nearby. Sleeps three.

Butler's Apartment, Florence Court, County Fermanagh 

This 18th-century apartment with lots of original features is in the laundry yard of Florence Court, with out-of-hours access to its historic gardens, orchards and woodland. Sleeps four.

This cottage is near Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden, with its deer park, gardens and abbey ruins. Sleeps six.

Orchard Cottage, on the Gunby Estate, Lincolnshire 

Stay in this former gardener’s cottage and explore the gardens of the Gunby Estate before visitors arrive. The historic city of Lincoln and the coast are nearby. Sleeps four.

Go on a family-friendly day out in spring 2025 with Easter trails at many of the places in our care. Buy a Family or Junior membership with Direct Debit between 28 March–27 April inclusive and receive free trails for under-18s this Easter.
