Chaplain’s Lodge is an elegantly restored mid-Victorian stone gate lodge. As well as a large basement room, the cottage boasts an extensive private garden and seating area. Access to neighbouring Chaplain House can be arranged for larger groups.
Take advantage of free entry to Tyntesfield and explore its beautiful manor and historic parkland. The support from your stay at Chaplain’s Lodge helps to preserve these special historic places for everyone to enjoy.
From here a 25 minute drive will see you in the centre of Bristol. From Brunel’s impressive suspension bridge to the city’s famous harbour, there's a huge amount to see and do in the south west’s largest city. Head in the opposite direction to Victorian seaside town, Clevedon with its iconic bandstand and pier.

The staircases are steep and there are low beams on the first floor.
Heating: Gas central heating included.
Parking: Parking available for two cars. Cars are not permitted on the estate past Chaplain's House and Lodge.
Garden: There is a large sloping garden off the utility room on the lower ground floor with a grass area and mature shrubs.
WiFi: We’re pleased to provide free WiFi access at this accommodation, which is supported by BT. Please note intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and therefore should not be relied upon.
Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.
Large groups: For larger groups, Chaplain’s Lodge can be opened up on the ground floor with Chaplain’s House.
Holiday cottage guests have free access to the Tyntesfield garden and estate grounds out of hours.
