Enjoy an exclusive behind the scene tour of the upstairs of the House. Learn more about the work that goes into caring for Anglesey Abbey and see some conseravtion work in action.
Entry to upstairs of the House is via tour only between 1-28 February. The downstairs of the House is open on a free-flow basis between 11am-3:30pm (last entry 3pm).
Tours run on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday throughout February. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come-first -served basis and can be collected from the Visitor Centre.
This tour takes place on the first floor of the House only and visitors will need to climb two staircases to join this tour. This tour is free, but we would gratefully accept a suggeted donation of £5 to help us care for all the special collections at Anglesey Abbey.

- Meeting point
Tours start at the House at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm. It is approximately a 5-minute walk from the Visitor Centre to the House. Please arrive ahead of the tour start time.
- What to bring and wear
This is an inside tour, however as it is an old house it can get chilly. A warm coat or jumper and comfortable footwear is suitable.
- Accessibility
This tour takes place on the first floor of the House only. Visitor will need to climb and descend more then 20 steps.
- Other
Entry into the upstairs of the House is via tour only between 1-28 February 2025, whilst the Collections Team complete annual conservation work.
