Snowdrops: The Specialist Collection Tours

Anglesey Abbey is famous for its snowdrop collection and the gardens are home to over 500 different varieties of snowdrop, some of which can only be seen on this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. Join one of our expert garden guides for the chance to see rare and unusual varieties up-close and hear the intriguing stories behind how there came to be such a vast collection at Anglesey Abbey.

Snowdrop tours will run from Monday 27 January to Friday 28 February 2025, every day of the week apart from Saturdays. Tours will take place at 11am and 13.30pm on these days and there is no need to pre-book this year. Instead, tell a member of the welcome team in the Visitor Centre on the day that you would like to join a tour.

Our snowdrop tours are always really popular so we recommend that you arrive early on the day of your visit to collect your ticket from the Visitor Centre. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Normal admission applies.

The tours are free, but we would gratefully receive a £5 donation to help care for the collections at Anglesey Abbey. If you can't join a tour on the day you visit, you will still be able to see hundreds of snowdrops along the Winter Walk, Woodland Path and Jubilee Avenue. We look forward to welcoming you.
