Please note that Peckover House & Gardens are open from Thursday to Monday each week from 11am to 4pm with last entry at 3:30pm. We are closed on a Tuesday and a Wednesday. This season, you can view the house without pre-booking onto a tour. Subject to volunteer availability, tours are currently available on a Monday at 11am and last for around an hour. Free-flow admission resumes when the tour finishes at 12noon. Last orders in the Reed Barn tea-room are 15 minutes before closing.

Our plant sales are located in the courtyard by the Reed Barn.

Our second-hand book shop is located by the Reed Barn.

Toilets are located by the Reed Barn and in the house.
Coffee shop
Located in the atmospheric 17th-century thatched Reed Barn, our tea-room serves hot and cold drinks alongside cakes and light bites and is open from Thursday to Sunday, from 10:30am to 4pm and Mondays 12pm until 4pm with last orders at 3:45pm.

Our drop off point is on the double yellow lines at the front of the House.
Steps/uneven terrain
There is no step free access for entrance into the house. There is some uneven terrain to access the garden and a step in the garden means that an alternative route needs to be taken.

A wheelchair is available for use in the house on the ground floor and in the garden. Pre-booking is advised due to limited availability.

Parking: free in town, nearest is Chapel Road (not National Trust), 270 yards. From the car park, follow the brown or black tourist signs to Peckover House.
Sat Nav: enter PE13 1RG for nearest car park
On foot
from Chapel Road car park walk up passageway through Exchange Square and turn right by the river. This way, you get to walk down one of the finest Georgian streetscapes in the country.
