There is plenty to see and do at Wicken Fen in the lead up to Christmas. We have a new festive trail for you, as well as yuletide treats in the Docky Hut Café.

Festive Winter Trail 

Come along and experience our new Winter Trail, around the boardwalk, to help Parsnip, a lost young Highland cow, find her way back to the herd, meeting some resident wildlife and winter visitors along the way.

  • Dates: the trail is open until 13 January.
  • Cost: the trail is free. Normal admission to Wicken Fen applies. 
  • Booking: there's no need to book.

Winter warmers

Warm up after your fenland adventures by visiting the cosy Docky Hut Café where you can enjoy a festive hot drink and tasty yuletide treat.

 

Christmas shopping

If you're looking for that special Christmas present then pop into our Visitor Centre where you'll find a treasure trove of unique gifts, sustainable decorations and a range inspired by the wildlife found at the Fen. Every purchase helps us to continue looking after Wicken Fen.
