Join one of our free guided walks and discover more about the Alderley Edge countryside and how our teams of rangers and volunteers look after this special place. Uncover different routes and parts of this beautiful place that you may not have visited before and grow in confidence with exploring the outdoors safely. No need to book so please just meet at the information board in the main National Trust car park, 5 minutes before the walk is due to start. The walks take place on Sundays at 2pm on the following dates: 4th and 18th May, 1st, 15th and 29th June, 13th and 27th July, 3rd, 17th and 31st August, 14th and 28th September and 5th October. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. The walks are a medium challenge level.

- Suitability
Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Please meet at the oak framed information shelter in the National Trust Car Park, 5 minutes before the walk is about to start. The walks all start at 2.00pm.
- What to bring and wear
The terrain can be uneven and muddy in wet weather and you will encounter steps and steep slopes. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Please come prepared for all weathers.
- Accessibility
This walk takes place on unsurfaced outdoor paths and is unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. The walks involve steep terrain and hills.
- Other
The walks are a medium level and last around two hours. If for any reason you'd like to leave earlier, just let your guide know and they'll happily point you in the right direction for the National Trust car park along one of our way-marked routes. NT members park for free when scanning their cards at the machine and normal car park charges apply for non-members. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
