Around the World in Ten Trees
Meeting at Manchester's Garden in the Sky, join Anne Beswick for a guided walk the streets of the city and spend time noticing the trees, old and new, that have enhanced and decorated our environment.

Like many Mancunians, they come from many parts of the world and have many different stories. We have trees from Australia, China, Turkey and the Mediterranean, trees that have survived nuclear attacks and trees that have been saved from the brink of extinction.
They beautify our city and deal with our changing climate. Most of the time, we hardly notice their existence. This is your chance to have a look at nature in the city and the stories it's got to tell.
