When the selfish and greedy Pleeple begin to destroy the world around them, the ancient Rootkin awaken. Their mission? To help the Pleeple rediscover their connection to nature—and to each other. How? Through trees, of course! TREES ground us. They provide shelter for us and warmth for creatures living inside them. They clean our air. They help us exist. Trees communicate using underground networks of mycelium and an ethos of sharing and empathy. Can we learn from what goes on both above and below the ground around trees - to become a more caring society who look after their neighbours and planet? Perfect for families, nature lovers, and anyone who believes in a little woodland magic, this enchanting performance will pop up in unexpected places, bringing wonder and joy to audiences of all ages.
