To celebrate National Walking Month, step away from the hustle of modern life and join us for a wellbeing walk in the stunning park and garden at Lyme.
Whether you want to enjoy being out and about in nature, get active, explore more of your local area or meet new friends, this walk is for you.
The approximately 2 mile (3.2km) walk will go to the iconic Cage and include a stroll around the formal garden.
No walking experience required.

Outside the information kiosk in the car park.
- What to bring and wear
Sturdy footwear is essential as some paths are uneven. Please also wear weather appropriate clothing. Insect repellent and suncream is also recommended.
- Accessibility
Part of the route is on steep and uneven terrain. Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies. The walk is approximately 2 miles (3.2km)
- Other
To create a peaceful atmosphere, free from distractions, the Wellbeing Walking group is not suitable for dog walkers. Please note that there may be other visitors in the park with dogs along the walking route and in the garden.
