The 5k is an achievable distance and a good first challenge for most people.

The course is mainly on grass with some gravel sections. Ground conditions are generally very poor so extreme caution is needed when taking part. There are various elevation changes however these are not excessive. Park entry free to participants. Normal park entry charge applies to other visitors incl. NT members
