Needle Felting Workshop: Deer in the Forest
Inspired by Tatton Park’s resident deer herd, create a 3D forest scene using needle felting.
- Booking essential
Step into the enchanting world of Tatton Park with our immersive needle felting workshop: Deer in the Forest. You will create a stunning 3D forest scene featuring a majestic deer, which blends texture and dimension for a unique artwork featuring a forest that emerges from its frame.
Led by renowned fibre artist Vicky Pulman of Needlessly Felted, this workshop is suitable for both beginners and seasoned crafters. Inspired by Tatton Park’s serene woodland and its resident deer, you will bring the natural beauty of the forest to life with a combination of needle felting techniques. The focus will be on creating a 3D effect, with trees and foliage appearing to come out of the frame using wire and wool, while a needle-felted deer anchors the scene in the background.
What’s Included: A curated selection of high-quality felting wools in natural tones to craft the forest and deer. All tools provided, including felting needles, mats, and structural supports for the 3D elements. Expert tuition on creating depth and dimension with felting techniques. Entry to Tatton Park, allowing you to explore the parkland for inspiration before or after the workshop.
