Everyone is welcome to join us for a gentle walk from Penrose Hill car park taking in the parkland at Penrose, as part of our social walk series.
The walks are led by volunteer walk leaders and offer the opportunity for anybody to spend time in nature and meet new people. Everyone is welcome, of all abilities and experience, and the walk leader will facilitate the walk to ensure everybody feels comfortable.

The basics
- Suitability
Children welcome, adult supervision required at all times.
- Meeting point
This walk will start Penrose Hill car park information board (TR13 0RB or what3words:///elbowing.prime.tinted) and will take around 2 hours.
- What to bring and wear
Wear clothing suitable for all weather, ideally layers with waterproofs and comfortable, sturdy footwear.
- Accessibility
This route is not fully accessible & includes uneven ground, possibly steps & stiles. There are toilets available on this route.
- Other
Dogs welcome, please keep them under close control & on a lead if around livestock or if requested by the walk leader.
