Penrose social walks (Fairground car park)

Everyone is welcome to join us for a gentle walk from the Fairground car park to The Stables café in the heart of the parkland at Penrose, as part of our social walk series. This walk is approximately 3 miles in total and is fully accessible.

The walks are led by volunteer walk leaders and offer the opportunity for anybody to spend time in nature and meet new people. Everyone is welcome, of all abilities and experience, and the walk leader will facilitate the walk to ensure everybody feels comfortable.

Children welcome, adult supervision required at all times.

Meeting point

This walk will start at the free Fairground car park in Helston (TR13 8WN or what3words:///squeaking.magnetic.fuels) and will take around 2 hours.

What to bring and wear

Wear clothing suitable for all weather, ideally layers with waterproofs and comfortable, sturdy footwear.

Accessibility

This route is fully accessible. Toilets will be available half way at the café.

Other

Dogs welcome, please keep them under close control & on a lead if around livestock or if requested by the walk leader.
