On 11th July 2024 we held our Symposium, entitled ‘Female Craft and Design in the Eighteenth and Early Nineteenth Centuries’. Held at Reed Hall, University of Exeter, we invited a wide range of people to share stories about A la Ronde and how it connects to the wider world. This paper 'Conserving the Past, Creating the Future: a summary of the A la Ronde project' was presented by Emma Mee, as part of the panel 'Georgian period embellished decorative interiors using natural materials'.

Biography: Emma Mee

Emma Mee is a Project Manager at the National Trust, and led the delivery of 'A la Ronde: Conserving the Past, Creating the Future' from 2022 to 2024. The project was delivered on time, within budget, and achieved all intended objectives.

Emma brings cultural heritage sector experience from the Science Museum, British Museum, and from the world of art galleries and auction houses.
