Need some refreshment during your visit to Killerton? The Stables Coffee Shop and Killerton Kitchen Café both serve a wide range of hot and cold food and drinks. Afterwards, look for a gift or souvenir in the National Trust shop or Second-hand Bookshop.
Previously home to the many horses used on the estate for work and leisure, The Stables Coffee Shop serves a range of food and drinks, both hot and cold. We welcome dogs and muddy boots.
Walk through the garden to the rear of the house and you'll find Killerton Kitchen Café, where a large selection of hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks are served. Assistance dogs only. The Killerton Kitchen Café opens with the house daily from 11am to 4pm.
Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.
If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

Inside the National Trust shop at Killerton, you'll find an abundance of gifts, homeware items and tasty treats, all inspired by the places in the Trust's care. Take a look at our selection of locally crafted items to bring a touch of Devon into your home.
Most of the food in the shop is made by small, artisanal producers using the finest, carefully sourced ingredients. Look out for our selection of gins, including the locally made Salcombe gin; it's a firm favourite for a seasonal treat or gift.
The shop also sells a range of horticultural gifts, gadgets, books and tools. There are also garden sculptures and accessories that will add interest to your flowerbeds.
And don't forget to check out our selection of green and flowering plants in the courtyard – some will have been grown by Killerton’s own garden team. Pick up something to add colour and texture to your garden, or as a gift to delight a green-fingered friend.
There's lots of goodies for our younger visitors, from ‘50 things to do before you're 11¾’ items to nature diaries and water bottles.
Take the opportunity to try a new author, or you might just find that out-of-print book you've been searching for. There's also a selection of children's books to browse.
All the money raised from the sale of second-hand books helps to care for Killerton.
