Now a peaceful haven for nature, the woods and parkland at Acorn Bank can tell the stories of a very different time. Find out more about Acorn Bank's industrial heritage with a volunteer-led guided tour - you'll explore the woods and the working watermill to discover this hidden history.

What to bring and wear

Please wear sturdy footwear and, if needed, waterproof clothing.

Accessibility

Woodland paths are surfaced but do feature protruding trees roots in places. Some paths have a steep gradient unsuitable for wheelchairs. Access to the watermill is via steep stone steps.
