Snowdrop Weekends
Discover a secret spectacle in the woodlands at Acorn Bank this winter.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Snowdrop Weekends are back for 2025. Here's your chance to visit whilst the snowdrop displays in the woodland are at their most brilliant; we'll be open each weekend from 1 February - 16 March.
The café, watermill, second-hand bookshop and gardens will also be open so you can enjoy a wander and a bite to eat. Plus crafting, den building, family fun and vintage book sales.
On 1 & 2 February and 15 & 16 February, try your hand at windowsill salad seed sowing - sow a tray of salad seeds, take it home to watch the magic happen and enjoy eating the salad leaves a few weeks later.
On 8 & 9 February and 22 & 23 February, try block printing and take home printed artwork of the nature that surrounds Acorn Bank.
Try willow weaving on 1 & 2 March, and drop in to weave a willow crown or a willow magic wand.
On selected weekends, there's the chance to build your own den from natural woodland materials and set a trail for your family and friends to follow through the beautiful woods at Acorn Bank.
