Help Out Day: Meadow Care
Help look after the wildflower meadows at Aira Force
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
From cutting this year’s growth and dethatching the ground, to dock removal and seed collection and sorting. There will be a range of activities to suit all abilities and knowledge. It's a drop in activity.
As part of our Nature in the Nooks and Crannies project at Aira Force we have been establishing mini meadows in the less-used corners of our functional spaces to give nature an opportunity to thrive. During our Meadow Care Day there will be a range of activities focussing on the care and development of the mini meadows we have at Aira Force & Gowbarrow Park.
